 Anakrid is an experimental electronic project started by Chris Bickel (Guyana Punch Line) in 1989.
  i was a little apprehensive about this record because i do, in fact, judge things by their covers and i thought the album art was lame and cheap looking. the first couple tracks didn't really do much for me. there was nothing wrong with them, i just wasn't feeling them for some reason. eventually though the album began to grow on me and i enjoyed it. enough that i actually went back and listened to those first few tracks with a new ear and ended up enjoying them too. there's definitely a lot of cool stuff happening on this record. it's dark and kinda creepy at times. some of the tracks have a definite Silent Hill feel (as i stated before, i LOVE the Silent Hill).
