Brendon Small is probably most well known as the creator of Metalocalypse and the songwriter/guitarist for Dethklok. this is his first solo album. he wrote and recorded it with the same guys (drummer Gene Hoglan and bassist Bryan Beller) he does the Dethklok stuff with while they were waiting to find out if they were doing the 2nd Dethalbum. he describes the album as "high stakes intergalactic extreme rock".

the music ranges from stuff that sounds like unused Dethklok riffs to more melodic Avenged Sevenfold type riffs and places in between.

overall, this was a rad album. Small is a great songwriter and as much as i love Dethklok, it was cool to hear him playing different styles. i really hope he does more stuff like this in the future.
