Fistula (a fistula is basically when a tunnel or connection forms in your body, like in a rectovaginal fistula where a tunnel forms between the rectum and the vagina. there are all sorts of gnarly places that fistulas can occur, google it, it's a good time) is a sludge band from Ohio that's been around since the early 2000s. Goat is an ep that recounts the story of Anthony Sowell, a rapist/murderer from Cleveland who was arrested in 2009 and charged with 11 counts of murder, rape and kidnapping after the bodies of 11 women were found at his duplex (the house has since been demolished). i recommend checking out his wikipedia page to get more history on him and the case.
anyway, the music is dirty and heavy as fuck. a lot of great steamroller riffs. occasional samples of news reports (i laugh every time the reporter says "sausage factory") keep things moving along. unfortunately there aren't any lyrics included but i'm guessing they aren't saying anything pleasant.
