this is the band Alex Newport started after Fudge Tunnel. thank god he got better at naming bands. anyway, i found out about this band while trying to find info for my Nailbomb post (31 Flavors Of Napalm To Try) as far as i can tell they only have 2 full lengths out, this being the first.
musically this is way different than Fudge Tunnel. all the songs have way more singing than screaming or shouting, the riffs are heavy but not as heavy as in FT and it's more experimental. i see it described as noise rock a lot, that's pretty accurate, although i'd add that it also has a bit of an "alternative" (yeah i hate that term too but whatever, i'm lazy) feel as well. this was a rad album, i'm glad i found out about these guys. i'll definitely try to track down some more of their records.
