Jesuit were a band from Virginia that was active from '95 to '99.  the vocals are distorted, the lyrics are dark and amazing (i had a really hard time picking what i would use as my cover caption/title deal) the guitars noisy and the drumming tight as hell. as far as i can tell they only did one big North American tour in '98 with Dillinger Escape Plan (who guitarist Brian Benoit would join after Jesuit broke up) and Botch before breaking up. as the title of the disc states, this is their discography.

tracks 1 -3 are from their self-titled 7", released in '99.

track 4 is an awesome Sabbath cover that was on the In These Black Days Vol. 4 7" released in '99

tracks 5 - 9 are off the self-titled cd and 7" released in '96.

tracks 10 - 12 are off a self released demo tape.


this release was kind of a double edged sword. on the 1 hand this was an awesome cd and it's great to have all the material in one place but on the other hand it sucks that these 12 tracks are all there is from this great band.
